ASHBURN, Virginia -- Washington Redskins linebacker Junior Galette says if they had a game next week he would play. But they don’t -- and the Redskins don’t want to risk anything. So he will sit out the rest of the spring, not returning for full-time work until training camp.
Galette tore his Achilles in practice the week before the season opener in 2015 and said he’s about 85-percent recovered. He has also posted pictures on social media this offseason of him making a 360-degree dunk.
As his teammates practiced Wednesday, Galette worked with a trainer off to the side.
