Giants' Jason Pierre-Paul wins NFC East's comeback player of the year

New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul is the NFC East comeback player of the year as voted on by the four reporters covering the division for ESPN.com.

Todd Archer, Dallas Cowboys reporter: Pierre-Paul missed the final four games of the season because of an injury, but he showed he was still an effective pass-rusher a year after a fireworks accident severely injured his hand. He had one sack in eight games in 2015 but had seven sacks in 12 games in 2016. The Giants' defense did not miss a step without him, but he was showing the form that made him one of the dominant pass rushers before the accident.
