The Washington Redskins told reporters last week that they’re working on a long-term contract extension for left tackle Trent Williams, who’s in the final year of his rookie deal.
Rich Tandler of CSN Washington caught up with Redskins general manager Scot McCloughan on Monday about their ongoing contract talks with Williams.
I had a quick talk with Scot McCloughan about the contract extension situation with Trent Williams. He said that he is still communicating with Williams’ camp, said negotiations are very amicable.
He thinks both sides have the same goal, to make Williams a Redskin for the rest of his career.
