The Washington Redskins revealed a new set of throwback uniforms yesterday to commemorate their upcoming 80th season. The jerseys are relatively plain featuring a darker shade of maroon than their home jerseys and a lighter set of gold pants than their traditional ones.
The coolest featured of these jerseys is that the helmets are painted to look as if they are made of leather. While these uniforms are very simple, they are very eligant and will look great on the field. The Redskins will wear these uniforms for two homegames this season.
