The NFL’s players rated Washington Redskins outside linebacker Ryan Kerrigan as No. 78 on NFL Network’s “top 100 players of 2015,” which was revealed Wednesday night.
The network conducts an annual player vote, and then airs the countdown in 10-player installments. Last night’s broadcast revealed the countdown of players Nos. 80 to 71. It marked the first time that Kerrigan has made the top 100 list. He also is the first Redskins player to be revealed on the list.
Kerrigan is coming off of a career year which saw him record a team-high 13 1/2 sacks (seventh-most in the NFL) and five forced fumbles (tied for first in the league).
