Evan Spencer Wants To Be Impact Special Teams Player

Evan Spencer believes he can be the same sort of player he was at Ohio State when he contributed in nearly every facet. Now with the Washington Redskins, his first contributions could be on special teams.

The phrase "numbers don’t tell the whole story" could very well define the college career of Redskins rookie wide receiver Evan Spencer.

Drafted by the Redskins in the sixth round of the 2015 NFL Draft out of Ohio State, Spencer wasn’t the Buckeyes leading receiver -- nor was he the second, or third, or fourth... .

He was actually the ninth-leading receiver on the National Champions, hauling in 15 receptions for 149 yards and three touchdowns.
