3 Players The Redskins Could Draft In The 1st Round Of The 2016 NFL Draft

The Washington Redskins remain in a dogfight for an NFC East title with three games remaining in the 2015 regular season, but it still isn't too early to look at the team's potential first-round targets for next summer's 2016 NFL Draft. Here's 3 top contenders for the team's pick.

CB Mackensie Alexander, Clemson Tigers

Alexander is just a redshirt sophomore, but should enter the draft. He could go off the board before this, so it's solid value for Washington. The Redskins need to add at least one corner this offseason, and Alexander could provide early-first potential in a later-first pick. He's got outside shutdown potential and easily could be a #1 corner with a few years behind him.

LB Myles Jack, UCLA Bruins

Jack is recovering from a blown out knee, but he should still be a first rounder. He's very talented and would fit as an ILB in the Redskins' 3-4 scheme. Perry Riley and Keenan Robinson aren't anything special and Jack would be an upgrade.

DT Kenny Clark, UCLA Bruins

Clark continues to rise, and for good reason. This is more of a value pick for the Redskins, although the new regime likes to build from the trenches. The Redskins need a QB, plus secondary and offensive line help, but Clark gives them a building block on the defensive line.
