Robles brings smiles, speed to Nats' camp

WASHINGTON -- The Nationals intrasquad game on Thursday also featured the first time many of the Major League coaching staff got a look at outfielder Victor Robles, who was called up to Major League camp for the day to hit third and play center field for one of the teams.

He showed off some of the skills that have made Robles perhaps the fastest-rising prospect in baseball, now the Nationals' top prospect and No. 7 overall as rated by MLBPipeline.com. In his first at-bat, wearing a white No. 91 jersey without his name on it, he beat out a dribbler down the third base line without a throw.
