Nationals’ injury issues another challenge for skipper Dusty Baker

Stephen Strasburg is throwing off flat ground as he works his way back from a strained flexor mass in his right arm.

Daniel Murphy is still dealing with a strained left buttock.

Bryce Harper’s right thumb is swollen, but the X-rays came back negative, and he could return at some point this week.

On top of all that, Washington Nationals’ catcher Wilson Ramos injured his right knee last night. He’s headed for an MRI today, but it didn’t look good.

So what else could go wrong for the National League East champions?

“Don’t say that,” Dusty Baker told the reporter who asked last night.
