The Washington Nationals split their doubleheader with the Pittsburgh Pirates at Nationals Park. The Pirates won the first game 5-3 after a routine Sean Burnett implosion that wasted a fine start by Livan Hernandez.
Burnett was due to have one of his mound meltdowns. He's had a couple decent appearances lately and I knew it was only a matter of time before it would happen.
The Nats took the second game 4-3, but Mike Morse got hurt and I hope it's not serious because we need his bat in the lineup. Click the play button below to hear the rest of my thoughts on the game.
