The Washington Nationals are getting close to having 3B Ryan Zimmerman return from his injury. He will be playing a couple of games alongside Bryce Harper for the Hagerstown Suns beginning tomorrow afternoon.
The Nationals have went 22-26 without Zimmerman in the lineup and getting him back will be a tremendous boost for the team. The Nationals are hitting a paltry .232 as a team which is ranked 28th in MLB.
Zimmerman is a career .289 hitter with power. It appears he will rejoin the Nationals when they return home from this current road trip.
