The final game of the Washington Nationals five game home stand against the Pittsburgh Pirates was postponed because of rain today. The Nats finish their brief stay at home by going 2-2 against the Florida Marlins and Pittsburgh Pirates.
The Nats will now be hitting the road to start an 8 game road trip with a two game set to kick things off in New York tomorrow against the New York Mets. It's a big series with the Mets who are just one game behind the Nats in the NL East standings.
