Seventh-ranked Arizona State edged Washington 4-3 at Husky Ballpark on Saturday night win to even their Pac-12 baseball series at 1-1.
Arizona State (24-11, 12-5) scored an unearned run in the seventh inning that proved to be the difference. Washington (21-15, 7-10) had the tying run on base in each of the final three innings but was never able to break through.
Tyler Davis (5-4) struck out a career-high 11 and threw his second complete game of the season for the Huskies.
