Former Washington defensive tackle Danny Shelton has a pre-draft visit with the Detroit Lions next week, a source told FOXSports.com.
The Lions currently own the No. 23 overall pick and would likely need to move up to pick Shelton. Shelton was rated No. 8 overall on FOX Sports 1's NFL insider Joel Klatt's big board.
After allowing defensive tackles Ndamukong Suh and Nick Fairley to walk in free agency, the Lions have beefed up the interior of the defensive line.
