Devin was one of eight Stingrays given a qualifying offer. McParland played the final four games of the ECHL regular season for the Elmira Jackals.
Devin enderaed himself to Stingrays fans with his uncanny ability to score goals in clutch situations. Two of his 10 playoff goals in 2016 came as series-ending goals, one in double overtime against the Adirondack Thunder. More drama came in 2015 with his triple-overtime goal against the Toledo Walleye to send the Stingrays to the Kelly Cup Final.
