Training camp is less than a month away and the Caps have some spots up for grab that will most likely be taken by Hershey players from last season. One of those players could easily be the 23-year old Australian winger Nathan Walker.
Walker was drafted in the third round, 89th overall by Washington in 2014. Walker spent one year in Hershey when he came over from Europe before being drafted by the Caps. While in Hershey, Walker has put up great numbers while healthy. He broke out in 2015-16 when he recorded 41 points in 73 games (+20), and then another five points in 20 playoff games.
