Despite having a their nine-game win streak snapped Monday night in Pittsburgh, the Washington Capitals are still one of the hottest teams in the NHL. With 25 goals in four games, including seven in each of the last two, the Capitals are firing on all cylinders on offense.
Washington has been getting boring from everywhere, including the defensemen. Star winger Alexander Ovechkin has not scored a goal in the last four games, but that hasn’t slowed down the Caps. Washington finally has the depth this season that could carry it on a run through the post season.
As for Saturday’s game in Dallas, the Caps will look to start a new winning streak.
