Capitals Re-Sign Marcus Johansson

After Wednesday's arbitration hearing - and a very lengthy wait for the ruling - Marcus Johansson has been re-signed to a one-year deal worth $3.75 million, up from the $2.175 million he made last year (with an AAV of $2 million).

Johansson's contract brings the Caps just shy of the salary-cap ceiling, with under a million in cap space remaining (although more will be freed up after one of the goalies goes to the AHL).
