The Washington Capitals have recalled defenseman Cameron Schilling from the Hershey Bears of the AHL, GM Brian MacLellan announced today.
Schilling has appeared in two NHL games with the Capitals. He made his NHL debut in 2013, and played in one game with Washington last season.
Schilling notched 12 points (two goals, 10 assists) and 33 penalty minutes in 40 games with Hershey this season. He has earned 44 points (12 goals, 32 assists) and 197 penalty minutes in 187 career AHL games.
