While the major sports have completed their season, another sport has been continuing its hot streak. The Wake Forest Men’s Tennis team has hung around the upper echelon of the college tennis world for a while this season, but on Tuesday they were awarded for their outstanding play, and a huge road win in Athens against another top 10 team in a hostile environment, by being ranked as the #1 team in the nation. This week they were put to the test with 3 tough conference opponents, two of them being on the road.

The day the Deacs were placed at the top of the tennis mountain, they hosted a Virginia Tech team that has been playing teams hard all season.
