The Diamond Deacs received some excellent news today during the NCAA Tournament selection show. The Wake Forest baseball team, who finished the season with a 34-25 record, is headed to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since the 2007 season. The Deacs are in the College Station Regional, which consists of #4 Texas A&M, Minnesota, Wake Forest, and Binghamton.
Wake Forest will begin play by taking on Minnesota on Friday at 4 p.m. ET. The game will be televised on ESPN3. The winner of that contest will play the winner of the Texas A&M-Binghamton matchup, and vice a versa.
