No. 17 Wake Forest (30-13) defeated Davidson (21-17) yesterday by a score of 12-6, returning to its winning ways about a week after dropping a 6-1 game to Charlotte.

The Deacs were scheduled to face UNCG on Tuesday, but the game was rained out.
The game was scoreless through three innings. Then, in the fourth, Johnny Aiello and Keegan Maronpot each hit a home run, giving Wake a 2-0 lead.
