Way back in September 2013, one of the many anonymous Wake Forest Twitter accounts excitedly tweeted, “The main character of the new Nicholas Sparks book is a Wake Forest girl!” Since then, it feels like we haven’t gone a week without bringing up The Longest Ride in some way — who’s read it, when it’ll become a movie, who starred as an extra when they filmed on campus.
As much as I’d like to watch a film about the ins and outs of the Wake Forest experience, though, The Longest Ride is not that movie.
