Tyrod Taylor: Named Bills Starter

Former Virginia Tech standout, Tyrod Taylor has been named the starting QB for the Buffalo Bills. Taylor had been in competition with Matt Cassel and EJ Manuel over this preseason, but proved to be the Bills best option to begin the season.

Taylor was a standout QB for the Hokies from 2007-2010 where he threw for over 7,000 yards and propelled the Hokies to multiple 10-win seasons and several BCS Bowl appearances. In 2010, he was named ACC Player of the Year and ACC Offensive Player of the year.
