Saturday was pretty busy in Blacksburg. There were several school groups on campus on recruiting trips. There were folks in for visits for Spring Orientation, and there were football fans in the stands of Lane Stadium getting a glimpse of some of the gridiron talent on tap for next season. There was another much less welcomed visitor on Saturday; thunder and its big brother lightning. Spring in the mountains is often wet, and it can get a get loud. It drives folks indoors, and puts others to full flight.
The Softball team was bitten by a cancelled double-header with Marshall.
