RADFORD, Va. - The Virginia Tech track & field team collected seven top finishes at Radford’s Highlander Invite on Friday and Saturday.
Tech dominated the 1500 meters with six top-10 finishes on the men’s side and five for the women’s team. Brent Musselman set a personal best time, clocking in at 3:52.49 to place first. Tessa Riley led the women’s team with a personal record, 4:28.01 to win the women’s event.
The pole vaulters highlighted Friday’s field events with six top-five finishes. James Steck cleared a season-best 5.16 meters (16-11) to take first while Jeffrey Linta took third.
