Hokies Take Down Clemson in South Carolina 82-81

Virginia Tech traveled to South Carolina to take on the 11-7/1-5 Clemson Tigers. The Hokies, seeking their first road conference win since last season, were facing a desperate Clemson team that had lost their last five games. It was a tight one throughout, with neither team leading the other by more than 8. Both the Tigers and the Hokies responded well when the other team went on a mini-run.

The Hokies shot the ball relatively well, especially in the second half. But Clemson matched that due to their proficiency shooting the three ball. At halftime, the Tigers had already made 7 threes on 53% efficiency which kept them in the game.
