Hokies falter against Georgia Tech, 51-34

BLACKSBURG, Va. - The Virginia Tech women’s basketball team fell to Georgia Tech on Thursday night in Cassell Coliseum, 51-34.

The Hokies are now 14-7 overall and 2-6 in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Georgia Tech improves to 14-9 overall with the win and 4-6 in the ACC.

Sidney Cook had a team-high nine points and four rebounds. Vanessa Panousis had eight points while Regan Magarity had four points and six rebounds. Taijah Campbell grabbed a team best nine boards.

“Obviously it was a really bad offensive performance for us tonight,” head coach Dennis Wolff said.
