The Virginia Tech Hokies women's soccer team continued their efforts in South Carolina at the Charleston Tournament. In the second round of the tournament the Hokies faced the Mississippi State Bulldogs. The game was close, but in the end the Hokies pulled it out and won, 2-1.

The majority of the game was a defensive struggle, but the women of VPI showcased their offensive capability.
