The Virginia Tech Hokies landed their 14th verbal commitment of the 2018 recruiting class on Friday night, as 3-star athlete Armani Chatman announced his pledge to the Hokies via his official Twitter account.
The 6’0″ 180 lbs. Virginia Beach native is the first of the 14 members of the 2018 class to commit to the Hokies within the state of Virginia.
We all know of the strong push that the Tech coaching staff has put together in North Carolina, but Fuente and company are now hoping that their recruitment of Chatman will open more doors in the Tidewater area for 2018.
