Coming off an upset of the #6 Ohio State, #17 Virginia Tech was upset by unranked ECU today, 28-21
ECU controlled the day, jumping out of the gate 21-0 in the 1st quarter against the Hokies in Blacksburg and went ahead on a final, gutsy drive after VaTech tied the game at 21.
ECU QB Shane Carden had a HUGE day, with 368 yards passing and 3 passing TD, to go along with a game-winning QB sneak to win the game. VaTech QB Micahel Brewer was inconsistent, throwing for 3 TD and 2 INT, but came up big on a game-tying score with under 2 minutes left.
After a kick-off that went out of bounds with 1:21 left, ECU stormed down the field with several big paases to scores a go-ahead TD with 16 seconds left.
