Bowl Game? Nope. Just The Opener!
Some people watch the stock market. Some people look at Vegas odds to predict the future. I like to check where the rubber meets the road to determine worth. Looking at ticket prices spiking for the opening game in Blacksburg had me scratching my head. We are playing against Ohio State, the consensus #1 team heading into the 2015 season. Early projections have us in the back end of the top 25. It would be fair to say that on paper Virginia Tech has no realistic shot at beating the Buckeyes. I give some of the market value to heightened expectations of a Hokie squad that limped in last year to say the least.
