2017 Cavalier basketball commit Marco Anthony just got some good news. The Holmes High School senior point guard was named a McDonald’s All-American nominee.
Anthony is one of just nine Texas players to be honored with the nominee and he could be the second McDonald’s All-American in as many years as first year Kyle Guy was featured in the game in 2016.
It is unclear as to when the roster for the game will be announced, but the 2016 roster was announced January 18, 2016.
The 2017 McDonald’s All American game will be played March 29th at the United Center in Chicago.
