According to US Lacrosse Magazine, sophomore attackman Ryder Garnsey is transferring out of the Notre Dame men’s lacrosse program—and has his eyes set toward Charlottesville.

Virginia lacrosse fans will remember Garnsey mostly for the dagger he sunk in Hoo hearts this spring, scoring an overtime game-winner and celebrating with a “dead fish” dive. (Skip to 2:50 to relive it, if you must.)

Garnsey led the Irish with 43 points on 20 goals and 23 assists. He was the ACC Freshman of the Year in 2016 and was named an honorable mention All-American this past year.
