As Jamie Oakes, from 27/7, predicted over the weekend, UVa got some good news on the recruiting cycle early this week.
That good news comes in the form of a commitment from Windemere Prep offensive tackle, Ryan Swoboda. The 6-10, 270 lb (!) tackle doesn’t have an impressive list of Power 5 schools thus far with UVa being the only offer, but other bigger schools were starting to show interest given his upside.
Although he’ll likely redshirt his first year on grounds, given he is still so raw, Swoboda is a huge pull for the staff needing line help on both sides of the ball.
