ACC Baseball: Hoos fall to Demon Deacons, now 0-2 in Pool B

For the second day in a row, Virginia has to crawl back from a late deficit. And for the second day in row, those efforts fall just short.

The ball was certainly flying in Durham Friday as Wake Forest and Virginia combined for 23 hits, six of them home runs. While Virginia was hot early, jumping out to a 5-1 lead after three and a half innings, Wake Forest answered with three in the fourth, four in the fifth, and single runs in the sixth and seventh to take a 10-7 lead through seven which would be enough as they hold on to win 10-9.
