This weekend marks the first evaluation period of the spring and summer recruiting season. College basketball coaching staffs can hit the road and attend AAU events to watch, evaluate and ‘show love’ to their targets.
Jay Wright has already extended several offers to players in both the 2018 and 2019 class that will be playing at the top level of AAU circuit (and there’s some 2020 prospects to watch too), but even at the various sneaker events there will be younger age groups worth monitoring.
