So, Vanderbilt projects to have 11 players on scholarship for the 2016-17 season, and with two seniors on next year's team Bryce Drew and staff will have four scholarships to give in the 2017 recruiting cycle. (Even if Alec Peters does wind up coming here -- and those rumors refuse to die -- since he'd only be on scholarship for one year.)
You can see one pretty obvious area of need: with Luke Kornet graduating and Samir Sehic having left the program already, the only big men projecting to be on the roster after next season are a pair of freshmen in Djery Baptiste and Clevon Brown.
