Starting with a 4-1 road victory over No. 22 LSU on April 12, Vanderbilt women’s tennis has put together a hot streak of the caliber few Commodore fans have seen in any sport in recent history with nine straight wins and 22 wins in their last 24 matches.
Led by ITA Coach of the Year Geoff MacDonald, the Dores entered that match against LSU ranked 8th in the country and have since run through seven top-25 opponents during the aforementioned win streak that brings the team to the brink of the program’s first national championship.
