Downfield Threat Donaven Tennyson Commits to Vanderbilt Football

Virginia wide receiver Donaven Tennyson will move south when he heads to college in 2016. The speedy wide receiver committed to the Vanderbilt Commodores on Tuesday afternoon.

Rivals.com reporter Adam Friedman broke the news on Twitter:

Tennyson is a 5'11", 175 pound target. The high school junior chose Vanderbilt over North Carolina, Michigan State, Pittsburgh, West Virginia, and Tennessee. His explosive speedy could make him an immediate vertical threat for the Commodores. Though he could stand to add more weight, the young wideout is still growing into his body and could eventually become a topline WR for Derek Mason and offensive coordinator Andy Ludwig.
