Whitecaps FC 2 return to USL play this weekend as they host red-hot Real Monarchs SLC on Sunday, May 28. Kickoff for Mutts at McLeod is scheduled for 3 p.m. at McLeod Athletic Park in Langley.
This will be the first encounter between the two teams this season after facing off twice in the 2016 USL season, with both teams taking a point in a 2-2 draw, and Real Monarchs edging out the ‘Caps in the second meeting with a tight 1-0 win.
Rich Fagan’s squad will be looking to shake off the rust and get back to work after a bye week, with the ‘Caps last match dating back to their 3-1 Mother’s Day victory against Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC back on May 14, collecting three points and securing their fourth win of the season.
