The Vancouver Canucks lost. Well, two of them. Technically, it was only one because the other was a healthy scratch. And it was at the World Cup of Hockey. Against Canada. So it doesn’t even really matter.
Still, it is worth mentioning.
For Jannik Hansen, the World Cup was definitely a success. He only recorded one assist, but he made it to the final of a tournament that saw the best of the best compete against each other. Hansen was part of a team that had never played together before but almost completed a true miracle.
