It wasn’t always pretty, but the Vancouver Canucks avenged their last loss against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
In their first game back on Nov. 5, Ryan Miller was not good, allowing all six goals in the loss. He made up for that loss with a stellar performance tonight, making 38 saves.
And as expected, Erik Gudbranson and Matt Martin came together for a spirited fight:
Gudbranson gave Canucks fans the reckoning they wanted. Meanwhile, Miller’s heroics helped Vancouver survive a frantic overtime period. They were able to win the game in a shootout.
