The Vancouver Canucks will have six representatives at the 2016 World Cup of Hockey as defenseman Luca Sbisa was named to Team Europe’s roster Friday afternoon. He joins forward Jannik Hansen as the second member of the Canucks included in Team Europe’s lineup.
Team Europe are the underdogs of the tournament which will take place September 17th in Toronto. Team Canada and Team Finland look to be the early favourites while the under-23 Team America will look to give the veterans a tough time.
Three other Canucks were called to duty as Team Sweden bolstered their scoring with the inclusion of Henrik and Daniel Sedin.
