The Vancouver Canucks have once again been connected to a free agent defenseman, this time one with previous connections to certain General Manager.
Back at the NHL Trade Deadline, the Vancouver Canucks looked into acquiring Boston Bruins defenseman Matt Bartkowski. However, the price was just too much and a deal was never made. According to Ben Kuzma of the Vancouver Province, the Canucks are ready to get back into talk of acquiring Bartkowski.
Now that the season is over and free agency is approaching, the Canucks have another chance at bringing Bartkowski.
