UTEP and New Mexico State clash in a forever intense rivalry matchup, beginning the journey that is a women's soccer season.
The Miners and Aggies meet at 5 p.m. Friday in Las Cruces, each team hoping to use the other to catapult them to a good start on the season. Both teams have gone through the intensity of summer conditioning and the grind of August two-a-day practices.
Now, they are ready to play.
"We are very excited for the 2017 season to start,” UTEP head coach Kevin Cross said.
