UTEP’s star middle linebacker Alvin Jones will miss his second straight game tonight against Southern Miss as he continues to nurse an ankle injury.
Silas Firstley will start in his place at middle linebacker for second straight week.
Additionally, El Paso’s Greg Long who is a true freshman out of Eastwood High School will make his first career start at right guard for the Miners Saturday night against Southern Miss.
