McGill drops UTEP again in Costa Rica

McGill University held off every late UTEP charge and dropped the Miners for the second straight night in San Jose, Costa Rica.

The Miners are playing a trio of exhibition games in the Central American nation, all three against Canadian universities.

McGill made two free throws in the final second for icing on the cake to drop UTEP 86-82 Thursday. McGill edged the Miners 56-54 Wednesday evening.

The Miners will play the University of British Columbia Friday morning at 11:30 MDT. They will do more sight-seeing, have a zip line experience Saturday and return home Sunday afternoon.
