UTEP women's coach Kevin Baker said he was going to hit the ground running, and three weeks after taking the job, he has his staff in place with the hiring of three assistant coaches.

Lori Morris, the head coach at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, the past two seasons and a Division I assistant the seven years before that, will be the associate head coach.

The other assistants are Nicole Dunson, who spent the last four years as the guards coach at UTSA, and Michael Madrid, who led San Jacinto College to its first NJCAA tournament in his second year there as head coach.
