PROVO — No. 22 Utah is back in the NCAA women's volleyball tournament for the third time in four seasons, but for the first time since 2014.
The Utes (20-11) open the first round against UNLV at the Smith Fieldhouse in Provo. Utah is 29-4 against the Rebels (23-7) all-time, but the teams have not met since both were members of the Mountain West Conference in 2010. UNLV took the most recent meeting between the clubs on Nov. 13, 2010.
The winner advances to face the winner of No. 10 BYU (27-3) and Ivy League champion Princeton (19-4) at 7 p.
